Additional Director General Rajan Bargotra, PTM, TM, Coast Guard Commander (Western Seaboard) CGC(WS)} visited Coast Guard Region (North West). During the visit, he visited Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Station at Jakhau, Regional Headquarters at Gandhinagar and Coast Guard District Headquarters No. 1 (South Gujarat, Daman and Diu) at Porbandar to review the overall operational preparedness and readiness of the Region North West towards mandated Coast Guard duties.
During the visit, the CGC(WS) also reviewed various infrastructure projects in the Region besides interacting with the officers and personnel of Coast Guard. Coast Guard Commander (Western Seaboard), ADG Rajan Bargotra is responsible for Indian Coast Guard charter in entire Western Seaboard from Gujarat to Kerala and Lakshadweep and Minicoy (L&M) Islands.
