After a one day of rest from the Yatra on Friday, Rahul Gandhi resumed the yatra on Saturday morning 6:30. The yatra was resumed from Perambra area of Kerala where he was joined by hundreds of other party workers for the yatra.


The yatris walked 12km and the march will be conclude at Amballur junction, this was covered by the yatris after a one day of break from the yatra on Friday where a medical camp was organised for the yatris and the participants, this was the 2nd 1 day rest which was taken from the day the yatra was started from September 7th. Today is the 17th day of the Bhart Jodo Yatra which was started by the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and other party members early this morning .

The information of the 17th day of Bhart Jodo Yatra was given by Jayram Ramesh on his social media handle where he shared a picture of Rahul Gandhi marching for the yatra and tweeted “After a day of rest, 17th day of #bharatjodoyatra started at 6:35am today from Perambra Junction, The yatris will walk 12km this morning, you can catch it live on the Bharatjodoyatra.in and all our social media platforms.
The yatra organized by Congress will be covering around 3,570kms of distance in 150 days, which was started from Kanyakumari Tamil Nadu and presently the march is ongoing in Kerala and will be concluding in Jammu and Kashmir.

Presently the yatris are marching in Kerala and will be covering totally 450 km around the state which will be covering 7 major districts of the state and the next state where the Yatris would enter is Karnataka where they would continue marching from 1st of October.
